Saturday - June 13, 2009 - A beautiful, slightly overcast day is what God has blessed us with. What a perfect day it was for taking pictures! For photographers, overcast skies are ideal for taking pictures of people, because it's bright enough for the beautiful colors, and yet, no one is squinting. I love the cooler temperature because no one is burning up in their suits and ties, fancy dresses, and for some of us who have personal summers. Well, since God blessed us with the perfect weather for pictures, what better place than a wedding to practice on!
We were blessed to be invited to help celebrate the union of Joanna Lee and John Place. The wedding and reception was held at the Universal Hilton. The wedding was beautiful, the weather was perfect, the groom was glowing, and the bride was gorgeous! It was great to see so many familiar faces from our Cornerstone Community Church days. Although time escapes us, it's amazing when we see other, it seems like it was only yesterday. That's truly God's hand in all of our lives.
