Friday the 13th!!!
Jackie, Laurel with his daughter, Joe, and I are radiation buddies. God has always sent nice people, my way, once again. He always knows exactly what we need, and when we need it. He eases our fears when we look to Him for love and support. Whether it was chemo, surgery, or radiation, I have been surrounded by His angels. I really hate cancer, but I do cherish what this experience and all the people He has brought me.
KoGi BBQ Run #2
???
Huh???
Hey Angel, what's up?!?!?
It's daylight savings time again. Tonight, we're going to spring forward, and lose an hour of sleep. So what do we do? Go to bed early? NOT!!! Shortly after midnight on March 8, 2009 , we had another KoGi BBQ adventure at Venice Beach with Angel, Jolene, Todd, Stephanie, and Greg. Of course, it wasn't planned... And of course, I "had to" go for the ride... After all, everyone was meeting at my house. It was my second time for KoGi BBQ, countless of times for a few folks, but it was the first time for the newlyweds, Steph and Greg. As always, we ordered our tacos and burritos, and enjoyed it while it was hot off the grill. Since I was told that their burritos reheat well, I had to take a few extras to go for Hank and the kids. They had a really yummy breakfast before going to SBCC (South Bay Community Church).
What's a movie without dessert?!?!? It didn't matter that it was a Monday night, March 9. After our dinner, Angel and I made Havana Banana Splits. Noah, Mamiko, and Kento thought it was yummy too!!!
March 10, 2009 - Shery, Aisa, Lisa, and myself had a Marukai run for snacks galore. Then it was back to my house to indulge in some strawberry, banana, ice cream, and Nutella crepes. As I attended my meeting with the Wellness Community, the girls were enjoying fresh seafood at the Redondo Beach Pier. We were truly blessed with great beach weather! Oh, how I love Southern California... especially here in the South Bay area!!!
Ann, Pat, and myself having dinner at the Lazy Dog Cafe in Del Amo Mall, Torrance. The food is quite yummy, but... Did I ever tell you how much I love their Doggie Bone shaped breath mints? I sure hope it doesn't give me DOGGIE BREATH!!! hee hee hee
Multicultural Assembly 2009
On FRIDAY THE 13TH... of March!
Yeah, JROTC!!!
Hey, it's Mimoe!
GO NOAH!!!!!
Myan was everywhere!
Thriller?!?!?
Jenny and I
North High School had their annual Multicultural Assembly, on Friday the 13th, of March. In January, Steven started working out with The Masters Choice Martial Arts in Torrance. He has been practicing Tae Kwon Do with his friends. They participated at North High School, representing the Korean Club on campus. The entire event lasted about an hour and a half, it was very colorful, and quite entertaining. In my opinion, the Korean Club and the Polynesian Club really rocked the house, or in this case, the gym!!! I'm so glad to see all the different cultures come together this way. It's so wonderful that we can be proud of our ethnicity, and to be an American!!! IN GOD WE TRUST!!!!!
