This Saturday, on November 1, 2008, we were blessed with a really beautiful day at the Santa Anita Park. We were there to watch my niece, Lisa, graduate from California School of Culinary Arts (CSCA), Le Cordon Bleu Program, and with HONORS too!!! The ceremony lasted about two hours, which is not bad for the number of graduates they had (about 850). We are so proud of her. Now, she can run a full service bar AND cater all the food for our future parties! Yeahhh!!! It's really great to have connections in the family!!!
Chef Martin Yan was the guest speaker.
The proud parents and Grandma.
There's never a dull moment in our family.
We are very honored to be a part of your celebration, Lisa! You have some really nice friends too. We're glad to have met them. We hope you'll continue to enjoy working for Roy's Hawaiian-European Fusion Restaurant. May you soon be promoted to head chef!!! ;-)
Unselfishly, Lisa cut off her beautiful ponytail, and is donating it to Locks of Love. Thank you Lisa!!! An ill child will be very happy to receive a wig made from your loving donation! Thank you for making a difference in some one's life. God bless you for your big loving heart!!! For more information, here's their website: http://locksoflove.org/mission.html
Today, we were so happy to see our relatives, Wayne, Shall, Wayland, and Roland. They came to visit us at our house, and they brought a ton of yummy food too. We were really happy to catch up with them. I'm just really bummed that I forgot to get a picture for my blog. Guess my chemo brain is effecting me again. We'll just have to get together more often, that's all, right?!?!? God bless your family always. Hope to see you during the upcoming holidays! ;-)
