Saturday - May 27, 2009 - Live, Love, Laugh!!!
~Live~ I'm glad to be healthy and alive to live my life as fully as I can, as God would have it.
~Love~ I can never get too much of this from God, my family, and my friends.
~Laugh~ Well I'd much rather laugh than cry, so I do this as often as I can!!!
Thanks to K-Earth 101 FM Radio Station (http://www.kearth101.com/), when I was on my way to Vegas last Friday morning at 8:30am, I called in and played their "Celebrity Knockers" game, and I won two tickets to the Laugh Factory of Long Beach! All I had to do was yell out, "Wayne Brady!!!" They had a special fund raiser show for the USO, and the entire show was being taped, so it can be sent to our troops in the field. How great is that?!?!? Comedy with a mission! There were many well-known comedians to support the cause. I tend to favor Paul Rodriguez, especially since he was kind enough to let us take pictures with him!
I won two VIP tickets.
That's me with Paul Rodriguez! He gave me a really longggggg hug, until Hank figured out how to use my camera! hee hee hee (http://www.paulrodriguez.com/)
Tom, Judy, Berda, and Paul.

Hank and I had a great time at this special show. Normally, the Laugh Factory shows last for about 2 hours, but tonight's lasted almost 3.5 hours. There were some amateur comedians from the Armed Forces that competed for prizes. There were two soldiers that were tied for first place. The USO is such a giving organization, that they had decided to reward them both first place prizes of $5,000 each, plus other prizes too! WOW! Isn't that really great how they give back to our troops? I hope this event raised a lot of funds for the USO. If you feel you want to make a pledge to this worthy organization, please contact them directly through their website (http://www.uso.org/). God bless you for your generous donations; God bless our troops; God bless the USA!!!
